Dr Shrikaanth Krishnamurthy is a qualified psychiatrist registered with the GMC and a Member of the Royal College of a Psychiatrists. His 25 years of experience spans a wide range of psychiatric conditions and subspecialties. He is on the specialist register for General Psychiatry as well as Old Age Psychiatry. Working as a Consultant in Birmingham, Dr KrishnamurthyΓÇÖs approach is marked by positivity, instillation of hope, patient-centredness, evidence-based treatment of conditions including those resistant to treatment, and inclusion of patients and carers in the decision-making. Apart form the management and treatment of conditions, he also has expertise in medico-legal assessments and report-writing, capacity assessments and Deprivation of Liberty work.
